The Web by Jonathan Kellerman
The Web is a web of crap. Kellerman’s written some OK stuff but this isn’t it. It starts by covering Dr. Delaware’s family vacation in more excruciatingly boring detail for more pages than you can imagine slipping past someone who edits thrillers. It then tries to summon up some drama by throwing in seemingly random and only slightly interesting events. Of course we know they must tie together somehow, right? Something sinister must be going on, right? Right. In the shocking (!) climactic sequence, all plot (?) points congregate into one unbelievable heap-o-crap. Don’t waste your time.
