I read the original Mrs. Pollifax story a while ago and it didn&#8217;t do all that much for me, but more recently I read <a style=\"text-decoration: none\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0449147606\/tradgirl\" target='new'>Mrs. Pollifax and the Whirling Dervish<\/a> and really enjoyed it.  Mrs. Pollifax mysteries are fun, light reading with stories that never stop moving for a minute.  Mrs. Pollifax figures everything out about two pages after you do, so the plots are neither too predictable or too obscure.  <\/p>\n<p>Having enjoyed the Whirling Dervish story, I was in the mood for more, so I rummaged through the box of books my grandmother sent me and came up with two others: <a style=\"text-decoration: none\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/044918336X\/tradgirl\" target='new'>Mrs. Pollifax, Innocent Tourist<\/a> and <a style=\"text-decoration: none\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0449208648\/tradgirl\" target='new'>A Palm for Mrs. Pollifax<\/a>.  (The Palm one is the better one.)<\/p>\n<p>Not having had enough, I went out and bought <a style=\"text-decoration: none\"  href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0449149560\/tradgirl\" target='new'>Mrs. Pollifax Pursued<\/a>.
