I enjoyed Bonfire of the Vanities and I enjoy &#8220;hooking up.&#8221;  I&#8217;m sorry to say that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0312420234\/tradgirl\" target=\"'new'\">Hooking Up<\/a> is just ego massaging on the author&#8217;s part.
