It&#8217;s a discourse on the ways in which our society has speeded up, presented as a deluge of facts.  I wish Gleick had taken time to sum up or analyze or draw a conclusion from all these facts.  It felt like info dump, which is exactly what the book is about: how much info is being dumped on us and how little relevency is made out of how much data.
