But when it happened, it happened accidentally.  I was carrying around some Louis L&#8217;Amour books that had come into my possession for a friend who does like westerns when I found myself at a blood drive without anything to read one day.  So I grabbed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0553276743\/tradgirl\" target='new'>The Daybreakers<\/a> from my back seat and started reading.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s like a romance novel for men.  The hero and heroine are so perfect.  The hero can do no wrong &#8211; every shot hits its target, every guess is right.  He&#8217;s taciturn but sweet, loves his mama and his girl, doesn&#8217;t want to cause trouble but always ends up in the middle of it.  One big cliche and it read surprisingly slowly.
