If I did, I don&#8217;t remember them which isn&#8217;t hard to imagine.  I&#8217;m sure I&#8217;ll forget <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/exec\/obidos\/ASIN\/0671010123\/tradgirl\" target='new'>Final Jeopardy<\/a> pretty fast too.  This was a competent mystery\/thriller.  It was transparent in spots but never so early that I was reading only to confirm my suspicions.  <\/p>\n<p>The biggest problem with the book is that Fairstein has a tin ear for dialogue.  She tries to communicate background information, like the history of buildings, by having the characters talk to each other.  When was the last time someone told you when a building was built in casual conversation?  Bear in mind these are lawyers and cops and the building never did have anything to do with the plot.  Lawyers don&#8217;t talk like tour guides to their cop buddies and no one cares when the building was built.
