Tough Guys Don’t Dance by Normal Mailer
Tough Guys Don’t Dance is kind of all over the place. A sort of mystery, I guess – what did I do last night and where did all this blood come from? – but written so as to be literature rather than entertainment and becoming increasingly more entangled and unlikely as it goes on. It’s not altogether a bad read but it doesn’t stick to one thing or another enough to be a good one either.
