The Pilot’s Wife by Anita Shreve
The Pilot’s Wife was nice but nothing spectacular. The romance felt unlikely and forced but the main plot of finding out what you didn’t know about a loved one after they’re gone is somewhat interesting, if not that fully explored. The book has a steady pace and light tone that make it easy reading but at variance with the seriousness of the subject matter.
