Mrs. Pollifax Books
I’ve been on a Mrs. Pollifax rampage lately. I read the original Mrs. Pollifax story a while ago and it didn’t do all that much for me, but more recently I read Mrs. Pollifax and the Whirling Dervish and really enjoyed it. Mrs. Pollifax mysteries are fun, light reading with stories that never stop moving for a minute. Mrs. Pollifax figures everything out about two pages after you do, so the plots are neither too predictable or too obscure.
Having enjoyed the Whirling Dervish story, I was in the mood for more, so I rummaged through the box of books my grandmother sent me and came up with two others: Mrs. Pollifax, Innocent Tourist and A Palm for Mrs. Pollifax. (The Palm one is the better one.)
Not having had enough, I went out and bought Mrs. Pollifax Pursued. OK, now I’ve had enough.
