Mythology by Edith Hamilton
Mythology was a fun read. Although I knew bits and pieces of many of the myths, I’d never studied them in school so I didn’t know how they fit together. I never realized that the Greek plays, poems like the Iliad and the Odyssey, and the myths were all intertwined. I guess they didn’t have very strong copyright laws back then. I looked through several books on mythology at Borders and felt like this one was the least scholarly and most fun to read. No footnotes here, just stories of heroes and gods.
