Winery trip

It was the CCM’s wine-tasting weekend and I decided to be a joiner instead of a loner for once. I met up with Miriam Saturday morning and we had a good day of classics in the Nears. I led the harder, more direct version of the first pitch of Yellow Belly which I had, unfortunately, forgotten all the details on. Now that I re-read the journal entry from the last time I led it, I see that nothing has changed. I was just as flummoxoned the first time as I was this time. So that’s something of a relief, because I thought I was losing it.

Unfortunately it started sprinkling towards the end of the day, then raining as day turned to night. We had a good dinner and a drizzly bonfire then went to bed with the sound of rain growing ever louder against our tents. It was pouring the next morning while we had our pancake breakfast and pouring while we packed up our tents and drove home. So lots of fun but too bad about Sunday.
