Not clean, of course. But I did get on two 12s this weekend rather than the usual one. I mean, I got on the usual one, and then another one. Brien and I were talking in the parking lot about Orangahang, about how we’d both watched people, like our friend Christine, on it and how fun it looked and how safe it would be to try but how popular it is. We ran into Christine and got a little beta from her but both felt we’d never try it with all the people usually in line for it.

Then we walked around a corner and found the entire crag empty. Not a soul on anything and Orangahang hanging clean. So we gave it a shot. I think I got to the third bolt but maybe it was the fourth. I got really close to the crux anyway. I’d love to have this in the gym so I could try it all the time. Or whenever it was free.
